These terms govern your use of this website, alcenza.consulting (the “site”), operated by Alcenza Business Services (“we”, “us”), Office 801, Court Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE. By using the site or contacting us through it, you accept them. When you engage us for a service, the quote and terms we agree with you in writing apply to that service and take priority over these terms where the two differ.
Who we are
Alcenza Business Services is a private company providing business services in the UAE: company formation on the mainland, in free zones and offshore, visas and residency including the Golden Visa, support with bank account applications, PRO services and business structuring. We prepare and submit applications, pay government fees on your behalf and follow them up with the authorities and other institutions.
We are not a government entity. We are not part of, affiliated with or endorsed by DET, any free zone authority, GDRFA, ICP, MOHRE, MOFA or any other government body, or by any bank, and we don’t act on their behalf. You can apply to the authorities directly yourself; our fee is for our work and is not a government charge.
Information on this site
The content of this site is general information. It is not legal, immigration, tax or other professional advice and doesn’t take your circumstances into account. Requirements, fees and procedures in the UAE change often and without notice; we work to keep the site accurate but don’t promise that it is complete or up to date.
Examples, timelines and figures on the site (for instance, typical setup or visa processing times) are illustrations, not a promise for your case. Tax information, such as corporate and personal tax rates, is a general summary of UAE rules, not tax advice; for your situation, consult a registered tax adviser. Advice on your case is given in writing, after we have reviewed your documents.
No guarantee of outcome
Decisions on licences, visas, residency (including Golden Visa eligibility), permits and every other government transaction are made by the relevant authorities at their sole discretion, and banks decide independently whether to open an account. We don’t guarantee that an application will be approved, or the time it will take; our assessment of your eligibility is an opinion, not a decision. Processing times depend on the authorities, their systems, your nationality and the completeness of your documents. Response times we mention, such as a reply “within 2 hours in working time”, are what we aim for, not a guarantee.
Fees and payment
- Our service fee is quoted and agreed before we start work.
- Government and free zone fees, fines and third-party charges (for example licence and registration fees, medical tests, insurance, bank charges, legal translation, notary and courier costs) are set by the authorities and providers, may change between the quote and the payment, and are passed on as charged, with receipts where the authority or provider issues them.
- Once paid to an authority or a free zone, fees are usually non-refundable, including when an application is rejected or cancelled. We can’t refund amounts the authority doesn’t return.
- Refunds of our own service fee, if any, follow the terms agreed for that service.
Your responsibilities
- Give us complete, accurate and genuine documents and information, and tell us promptly if anything changes.
- You are responsible for the consequences of documents or information that are false, forged, expired or incomplete, including rejections, fines, bans or extra fees.
- Attend in person where the law or a bank requires it, for example the medical fitness test, biometrics, signing in front of a notary or a bank interview.
- Reply to our requests in time. Delays on your side can mean missed deadlines, fines or a new application, which we can’t be responsible for.
Documents and communication
We use your documents only to carry out the service you asked for and return originals once the transaction is complete. We usually communicate by WhatsApp, phone and email; messages on WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms. We may ask you to confirm important instructions in writing before we act on them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law:
- we are not liable for decisions, delays or errors of government authorities, free zones or banks, outages of their systems and portals, or changes in laws, requirements or fees;
- we are not liable for losses caused by incorrect, incomplete or late information or documents provided by you;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, business, contracts or opportunity;
- our total liability in connection with a service is limited to the service fee you paid us for that service.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
